Gilette VIP Padel Cup 2018

We experienced the overwhelming excitement of the inaugural edition that transformed the bustling central square of Sabaudia into a vibrant stage from July 20th to 22nd, 2018. This exclusive event brought an epic Padel competition to one of the most renowned tourist destinations.

Celebrities and sports enthusiasts alike joined forces, bringing to life the first Padel tournament that captivated everyone’s attention. But there was a larger goal behind it all: to support the non-profit organization Divertitempo in their valuable integration projects for children with disabilities.

Before reaching its thrilling final stages in Sabaudia, selection tournaments were organized across 7 cities, alongside an engaging online contest and a captivating social media promotion that enchanted fans.

The event was broadcast live on Sky Sport 24, featuring an exclusive television format by Sky and a special edition of the Corriere dello Sport. Thanks to over 120 articles in print and online, the impact of the event reached beyond 10 million people, far exceeding the limits of the Padel court.
